About Us

Equal Access is a network of student-run free healthcare clinics established by the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida.

Pre-medical and health professional student volunteers in collaboration with the University of Florida faculty and staff provide care for the medically underserved in the community.  Clinics are held most Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. PRIMARY CARE MEDICAL CLINICS

The Equal Access Clinic Network houses four walk-in Primary Care Clinics. No appointment necessary, however patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. All four clinics host separate specialty services nights dedicating their practice to providing a comfortable atmosphere for women, children, predominantly Spanish speakers and members of the LGBTQ community.

If you are unable to visit our clinics during the evenings for any reason, please seek care at Mobile Outreach Clinic, which operates every weekday from 11 AM to 4 PM at various Gainesville locations. Get more information.

SPECIALTY CLINICS

The Equal Access Clinic Network also comprises of seven Speciality Clinics. By partnering with additional healthcare providers, we are able to offer the Greater Gainesville community a Mental Health Clinic, LGBTQ Health Clinic, Gynecology Night, Prenatal Night, Eye Clinic, Dental Clinic, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.

HEALTH EDUCATION CLASSES

The Equal Access Clinic Network hosts two Health Education Classes. Both courses allow a specific patient population to learn more about preventing future health problems and managing current issues.
