When:

  • First Thursday of every month at 6pm. Patients will be scheduled in increments of 30 minutes and will be contacted with their appointment time prior to clinic.

Where:

  • The Radiology Clinic operates from the Mobile Outreach Clinic bus, and therefore the location can be flexible depending on patient needs. The MOC Care Coordinator will choose a location that is closest to the majority of patients being referred. Once scheduled, patients will be contacted with the time and location of their appointment by the MOC Care Coordinator. Possible locations include Bartley Temple, UF Health Eastside Clinic, and Downtown Library.

Patient Eligibility and Referral

  • Any EAC patient in need of one of the ultrasound studies listed below is eligible to be seen at the Radiology Clinic. Referral is required.

How to make referals/appointments

  • Use the Radiology Clinic referral via the Clinic Navigator. You will receive confirmation from Kyle Dyson (kdyson@ufl.edu) or our HOQI Officer Rafael Robles (rafaeljrq@ufl.edu) once the referral has been successfully submitted.
  • Once referral is placed, an MOC Care Coordinator will schedule the patient for the next available Radiology clinic date and the patient will be contacted with the time/location of clinic.

The following ultrasound studies can be performed at Radiology Clinic:

  • Thyroid
  • Abdominal/RUQ/Gallbladder
  • Kidney
  • Vaginal/Pelvic
  • Testicular w/ doppler
  • Upper/Lower Extremity w/ doppler

What if my patient needs something not offered above?

  • We Care can be utilized for further imagine studies (eg X-ray, CT, MRI).  Please see We Care referral process for more information.
