This is a growing list of community resources. You can click on each resource link for more information. Our goal is to keep this list up-to-date, however, please be aware that there is always a possibility that the resources listed below have changed.
- Mobile Outreach Clinic
- Free bus clinic that runs during the day Monday-Friday delivering health care to the medically under-served in low income neighborhoods and rural areas in and around Alachua County.

- Please call (352) 334-0160 to speak to a person during normal business hours to sign-up or for future information on future food distributions.
- Department of Children and Families (DCF) Access Services: Every Wednesday, 11:00am – 4:00pm, to assist with SNAP, Medicaid and Cash Assistance applications, recertifications, and questions.
HeadStart Access and Info: Will be available every Monday, 9:00am – 12:00pm, to assist with enrollments, applications, and questions.
- CareerSource Services: Available at the Library Partnership every Tuesday 9:00am – 12:00pm
- Notary Service: Free notary service will be available at the Library Partnership, Mondays 9:00am – 4:30pm and Wednesdays 1:00pm – 5:00pm. Patrons must have an ID.
- Paper Unemployment Applications are available on a grab-and-go basis. For individuals experiencing difficulty or are unable to complete online unemployment applications, we have paper ones that already have the postage paid on them.
- HealthStreet Access and Services: Will be available the first Thursday of each month, 11:00am – 1:00pm
- Meridian Access and Information: Will be available every other Thursday, 2:00pm – 4:00pm, to assist you with accessing counseling, substance abuse, stress management and other services.
- Family Court Paperwork/Packets Available –Family Court Packets are available for pick-up during normal business hours. Packets for Temporary Custody, Paternity, and Dissolution of Marriage are available. Additional help with packets can be accessed through contacting the Sydney Self Help Center.
- Library Partnership Resource Center Opportunities (located at 912 NE 16th Ave):
- Strong Kids Afterschool Homework Help and Enrichment –Registration Packets are currently available for income eligible children. Afterschool includes homework help, Girl Scouts, and Capoeira, Monday – Thursday. COVID-19 precautions will be in place. Please visit the Library Partnership for a registration packet.

- Free primary non-emergency veterinary care and services to clients in the program at the weekly clinic in downtown Gainesville and monthly outreach clinics at Grace Marketplace/Dignity Village and at the SWAG Family Resource Center in southwest Gainesville.
