The Equal Access Clinic Network is pleased to offer new leadership opportunities to our medical students. Below, you will find the application for New Coordinators to join our EACN Team. All training levels are welcome to apply.

UNDERGRADUATE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM COORDINATORS
Undergraduate Volunteer Operations Coordinator (2 positions)
(formerly: HOQI Coordinator)
Role Description
Undergraduate Operations Coordinators ensure undergraduate volunteers are well-integrated into clinic operations and prepared to support EACN’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. They collaborate closely with the Senior Director on recruitment, onboarding, training, and volunteer support.
Responsibilities
- Assist with directing the EACN Undergraduate Volunteer Program
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new undergraduate volunteers
- Serve as advocates for undergraduate volunteer needs and concerns
- Lead monthly advisory board meetings with HOQI
- Lead biannual HOQI orientation huddles
- Enforce HOQI expectations and address concerns

PRIMARY CARE CLINIC COORDINATORS (PCCs): 7th Day, Eastside, Bartley Temple, and Main Street
For this application, you will apply for a Coordinator position at a specific clinic site. Your specific assigned role will be determined after you are accepted onto the clinic team.
Please note: At 7th Day and Eastside, there are Specialty Night Coordinator positions listed that are considered as a branch of the primary care nights.

7th Day – Nephrology Night Lab Coordinator
- Support Nephrology Night by directing lab orders

Eastside – LGBTQ+ Night Lab Coordinator
- Support LGBTQ+ Night by managing lab orders

General PCC Coordinator Role Descriptions
Clinic Tracker Coordinator
- Oversee accurate and timely entry of clinic flow into EACN Tracker
- Update live encounter statuses
- Ensure all phases are documented across shifts
- Support overall clinic flow
- Ensure documentation completion (REDCap by the end of visit; notes within 24 hours)
Recruitment Coordinator
- Lead recruitment and scheduling of medical students and provider volunteers
- Ensure clinics are fully staffed and distribute pre-clinic instructions
- Coordinate with the Director of Physician Recruitment
- Remind providers to complete/sign medical notes
Labs Coordinator
- Manage point-of-care testing operations
- Ensure correct lab orders/codes are submitted to Quest Diagnostics
- Oversee specimen collection, documentation, and volunteer training
- Maintain lab inventory
- Ensure safety and quality standard compliance
Referrals Coordinator
- Processes and manage referrals to specialty care, imaging, and community resources
- Coordinate with referral partners and track follow-up
- Ensure timely access to care
- Support patients navigating external healthcare systems
SPECIALTY NIGHT CLINIC COORDINATORS: Prenatal, Gynecology, Cardiology, and Ophthalmology

Prenatal Night Clinic
Prenatal Clinic Care Coordinator (2 positions)
Clinic Care Coordinator
Supports communication between leadership, residents, faculty, and patients; manages referrals, supply tracking, and grant documentation; and assists with clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Referral & Patient Communication: Track/manage referrals, call patients for triage, manage clinic phone, relay concerns
- Clinic Operations: Send volunteer emails, lead undergraduates, facilitate check-in, vitals, rooming, UAs, distribute QR codes
- Supply & Inventory: Place monthly orders, maintain Excel tracking sheet, pick up supplies, assemble postpartum bundles
- Grant & REDCap Documentation: Track supplies/labs; assist with grant reporting
General Information
- Ideal for MS1–MS2
- 5–10 hrs/week
- Closed-loop communication and time management are essential
- Prior EACN/OBGYN experience helpful but not required
Gynecology Night Clinic
Gynecology Night Coordinator (Junior Level – 2 positions)
Supports OB/GYN faculty/residents by managing clinic operations, equipment, labs, and patient follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate clinic staffing (attendings, residents, PAs)
- Lead volunteer orientation and connect students with providers
- Monitor supplies and oversee equipment sterilization
- Manage pre-/post-clinic duties, including PAP drop-off
- Oversee patient follow-up and referrals
- Provide administrative support (scheduling, reminders, transport coordination)
- Assist with special projects

- Open to MS1 (rising MS2)

- Prior Gynecology Night experience valued but not required
Cardiology Night Clinic
Cardiology Night Coordinator (2 positions)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient visits and clinic-night operations
- Manage patient follow-up, referrals, testing, and reminders
- Assist in patient care and documentation
- Provide counseling on cardiovascular health
- Support QI projects (data, workflow, implementation)
- Contribute to team leadership
General Information
- MS2 preferred; MS1 with a strong EAC background considered
- Prior EAC, leadership, or QI experience valued
- Epic familiarity is highly valued
Ophthalmology Night Clinic
Ophthalmology Night Coordinator (3 positions)
Clinic Flow Coordinator
- Prepare exam rooms
- Lead volunteer teaching session
- Coordinate with HOQI for patient confirmation and scheduling
- Assign volunteers to encounters
- Maintain the clinic tracker
- Facilitate communication with residents and attendings
- Sends biweekly clinic logistics emails
Administrative & Glasses Coordinator
- Track volunteer sign-ups and attendance
- Send biweekly volunteer communications
- Create Practice Fusion accounts until Epic transition
- Ensure chart completion and provider note sign-off
- Manage clinic inventory
- Oversee glasses workflow: frame selection → order placement → pickup notification
